Delivery & Moving Procedures
In order for our Building Management Team to accommodate the interests of your company and to protect the Building, the following delivery and moving procedures should be followed.
Delivery Procedures
As far in advance as possible, but not less than 2 business days, schedule your delivery and building/elevator access with John Bauhs at 414 559 4464. Delivery times are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Your vendor must submit a current Certificate of Insurance to the Management Office for approval prior to the arrival at the Building. Please refer to the vendor insurance requirements for more detailed information.
Upon arrival, your vendor must contact the Management Office prior to unloading and provide identification.
Moving Procedures
As far in advance as possible, but not less than 2 business days, schedule your move and building/elevator access with John Bauhs at 414 559 4464. Moving times are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For evening and weekend moves, there will be a charge for the services of a Building Engineer.
Provide the Management Office with a letter listing the following information:
Proposed date of move.
Company name, phone number and point of contact information.
Moving company name, phone number and point of contact information.
Proof of required insurance coverage by the moving company. Please refer to the vendor insurance requirements for more detailed information.
Advise the Management Office in writing of any special requirements in connection with your move. For example, if supplies or equipment are due to arrive prior to your move, arrangements must be made for access to your space.
Upon arrival, your vendor must contact the Management Office prior to loading/unloading and provide identification.
Move-In
Complete the Tenant Move-In Forms and email them to the Assistant Property Manager prior to move-in.
Submit the Tenant and Vendor Insurance Certificates to cminsurance@urbaninnovations.com prior to move-in.
Contact Bill Connall with NBT at 312 317 3762 to coordinate your IT and phone service requirements.
Our building electrical service is WE Energies, and will be setup automatically. In the event of an emergency, please contact WE Energies directly at 800-662-4797.
Move-Out
Turn in all suite keys and access fobs to the Management Office on/prior to your lease expiration date to avoid additional rent charges.
Discontinue all applicable utility, internet and phone services upon move-out.
Provide a forwarding address and phone number to the Management Office.
Additional Reminders
Please note that all items must be transported through the loading dock located on the east side of the Building and via the freight elevator. Protective padding is encouraged to be used and must be requested of our Building Engineer prior to the delivery/move. Additional crating and padding may be placed by your vendor to protect flooring, doorways and walls that may be affected by the delivery/move.
Your company and the vendor will be responsible for leaving the Building and premises clean by removing all cartons and other trash generated. If you need help in the cleanup, Building Engineers can be provided at the current charge-out rates.
Any and all damage to the Building, elevator areas, doors, corridors, tenant spaces or grounds which you, your employees or vendor cause will be your responsibility. The Landlord will provide required repairs with the expense billed to your company.
Per the term of the Lease Agreement, all alterations in the premises become the property of the Landlord at the date of termination.
